Zacks Rank
The Zacks Rank rates stocks in terms of their expected price performance over the next three to six months. The ranking system uses a quantitative model based on trends in estimate revisions and EPS surprises. Stocks are ranked from 1 to 5, with a 1 being the best rank (strong buy), and a 5 being the worst (strong sell).
Values: 1 (Strong Buy) - 5 (Strong Sell).
Zacks Industry Rank
Zacks Industry Rank is calculated by averaging the Zacks Rank for all stocks within a specific industry. The industry with the lowest score will be considered the #1 ranked industry. There are 264 industries available in the Zacks Industry Classification.
Value Score
The Value Style Score identifies the stocks most likely to outperform based on its valuation metrics. This list of both classic and unconventional valuation items helps separate which stocks are overvalued, rightly lowly valued, and temporarily undervalued which are poised to move higher. Values: A, B, C, D and F. An A is best, F is worst.
Growth Score
The Growth Style Score evaluates sales and earnings growth along with other important growth measures. This includes measuring aspects of the Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, the Balance Sheet, and more. Values: A, B, C, D and F. An A is best, F is worst.
Momentum Score
The Momentum Style Score focuses on price and earnings momentum and indicates when the timing is right to enter a stock. The tested combination of price performance, and earnings momentum creates a powerful timeliness indicator to help you identify stocks on the move so you know when to get in and when to get out. Values: A, B, C, D and F. An A is best, F is worst.
VGM Score
The VGM Score are a complementary set of indicators to use alongside the Zacks Rank. It allows the user to better focus on the stocks that are the best fit for his or her personal trading style. The VGM score is based on the trading styles of Growth, Value, and Momentum. Within the VGM Score, stocks are graded into five groups: A, B, C, D and F. As you might remember from your school days, an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; a C is better than a D; and a D is better than an F. As an investor, you want to buy srocks with the highest probability of success. That means you want to buy stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2, Strong Buy or Buy, which also has a Score of an A or a B in your personal trading style.
Earnings ESP
Zacks' proprietary methodology for determining which stocks have the best chance to surprise with their next earnings announcement. The Earnings ESP shows the percentage difference between the Most Accurate Estimate and the Consensus. Reasonable range: -5 to 5

The fifty-two week high is the stock's highest closing price during the past fifty-two weeks.
Market Cap
The market capitalization is the total dollar
value (millions) of all outstanding shares.
Small Cap is < $1B (1000),

Large Cap is > $5B (5000).

Last EPS Surprise (%)
The percent Earnings Per Share (EPS) surprise for the last reported quarter is the difference between the actual EPS reported for the quarter and the consensus estimate for the quarter.This item can be used to find stocks that have recently reported earnings significantly different from expectations.

P/E (F1)
This price/earnings ratio is calculated by dividing the current price by the consensus estimate for the current fiscal year.This is a common valuation ratio.It is useful to compare a company's P/E ratio to the P/E of other companies in its industry and to the P/E of the overall market.The average stock in the Zacks universe has an F1 P/E of 16.
